Focal length and altitude
Information of camera's model, focal length, flight height, photo scale information sometimes can be found on the aerial photo
Thus, we can use the simple equations in this document tp estimate the unknown information of the old aerial photo.
Type of camera
- Usually, the old aerial photo in Taiwan is taken by 6 inch lens.
- We found some old aerial photos are wide format in Eastern Taiwan.
- The camera model is not known for now, but it is likely to be Fairchild K17 with Metrogon lens
